Job Summary

As a Project Manager, you will work as the project leader for both agile and waterfall methodology, working across various functions to plan, coordinate, and execute the delivery of business and technical initiatives. Your primary responsibilities include managing project planning, estimation, and delivery of software and technology projects, while ensuring effective communication with international clients. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead agile and waterfall project teams, managing dependencies across teams for successful delivery of cross-team initiatives.
  • Plan, estimate, and deliver software and technology projects, adhering to organizational standards and best practices.
  • Track key milestones and deliverables, managing stakeholder expectations using data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate with product owners to achieve a shared understanding of deliverables’ scope from project planning to work item level.
  • Oversee smooth planning, collaboration, communication, and execution of UAT and Production deployments.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
  • Implement organizational standards, tools, and best practices, including status reporting, KPIs, and metrics.
  • Coordinate with project and portfolio management colleagues to manage deliverable timelines, risks, and issues across the organization.
  • Foster an environment that encourages team growth and continuous improvement, guiding teams towards high levels of performance and delivery excellence.
  • Coach and guide teams on agile values and principles, ensuring the adoption of the scrum framework.
  • Perform the role of scrum master, ensuring teams leverage the roles, ceremonies, and artifacts of the scrum framework effectively.
  • Create a culture of self-organization, collaboration, empowerment, and transparency within teams.
  • Shield teams from obstacles and resolve them quickly.
  • Encourage continuous improvement and high performance within teams.

Must Have

  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Proficient in Agile project management practices and frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Strong understanding of agile values, principles, and servant leadership.
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and drive resolutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including emotional intelligence, mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and influence.
  • Familiarity with software development technologies and tools, and Agile Project Management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to negotiate with various stakeholders.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Project Manager.
  • Proven experience managing projects within the software development lifecycle.
  • Experience working with international clients and accommodating different time zones.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the scrum master role effectively, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Practical experience with Agile Project Management principles and practices.
  • Experience managing risks within projects and ensuring successful delivery of technology solutions.
